Raiders jet into NY for a high flying affair

Oakland Raiders vs New York Jets
Over/Under : 46.5
Odds Analysis :

After being held to less than 19 points in seven of their first eight games, the Jets offense has suddenly caught fire scoring 34 points in back to back games. Darnold has really come into his own lately and the Jets are averaging 25 points per game over the last 4 . Similarly, Derek Carr and the Raiders have been no slouch of their own averaging 24.5 in that same time. While the Raider’s defense has looked better of late i don’t expect that trend to hold up. Both teams’ defenses are giving up an average of 25 points per game but the Raiders have been especially bad on the road allowing an average of nearly 32 this year. I also like the fact that this could be a close game (possibly OT) but likely a shootout.

Notable Trends :

The over is 5-1 in the last 6 head to head meetings. The over is 4-0 in the Jet’s last 4 games overall and 5-1 in their last 6. The over is 6-2 in Oakland’s last 8 overall. The over is 8-1 in Oakland’s last 9 against the AFC East. The over is 4-1 in the Jet’s last 6 games in November

Conclusion :

I expect these two teams to start fast and score often. I feel like it will be closely contested but the home team will pull it out in the fourth quarter in a nail biter. Final score : Jets win 31-27

Titans look to pound Jags suspect D

Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Tennessee Titans
Current line : Tennessee -3
Odds analysis :
Week twelve in the NFL sees a Jags defense that has been struggling of late to find it’s identity. In the past two games Jacksonville has given up 480 rushing yards and now they face a renewed Titans team lead by Ryan Tannehill and the leagues fifth ranked running back, Derrick Henry. Henry looked like a steam roller last week vs. the Chiefs racking up 188 yards and two TD’s while averaging 8.2 yards per attempt. On the road this year, the Jags defense has been nonexistent allowing an average of 155 rushing yards and 24 points per game. Since Tannehill took over at QB the Titans are 3-1 and are averaging 26 points per game. I look for the titans to continue that trend sunday as they look try to secure a playoff spot. Coming off a bye and having two full weeks to prepare should help that cause.

Notable Trends : The Jaguars are 0-3-1 ATS in the last 4 meetings in Tennessee.
The Titans are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings. The home team is 7-2-1 ATS in their last 10 meetings.

Conclusion :
The Titans should win this game comfortably against the lowly Jags. I expect them to pound the rock early and often, play solid defense,  and control the pace of the game. While i like the Titans to win and cover i’m not averse to buying the hook as with all spreads of 3 points. If you can find the Titans -2.5 without having to buy the half point consider yourself fortunate. All that being said, my final prediction is Titans win 24-10

Someone Needs to Sign Jamal Crawford

Now that Melo has moved on to Portland, Jamal Crawford is just sitting at home, having dreams of his 50 point game last season. It blows my mind that someone performing like this last season can’t find a spot on a roster.

JCrossover outscores just about every bench in the league and still no one will take the poor kid. Just put him on the damn bench and let him drop a 50 piece every now and then. He’s still got some basketball left in him and he someone needs to let him shock the world.

Point is, we’re 5 weeks deep into the NBA, some teams are looking for scorers, and there’s a BUCKET just sitting at home. I love watching him play so someone needs to pick him up and entertain me.

Watch this highlight tape and explain to me how this kid’s not on a team balling out right now.
